Settings Admin

The Settings admin section is accessible from the Admin panel and contains system information, connection settings, filtering behavior, and date range configuration.

Portal Information

  • Portal Hostname - The full URL of your Portal instance.
  • Portal Version - The installed version of the Portal. Double-click to see detailed version information for each service (Portal UI, Portal API, Authentication Service, System Architecture), including version number, tag, branch, and commit hash.

Default Database Connection

Select the default Named Credential of type db_connection that all data sources will use when no specific credential is assigned. If no credential is selected, the system's configured database URL is used.

Filtering

Control how user filter selections persist across the Portal. Options:

  • Persist site-wide - Filter selections pass from page to page as users navigate through the Portal.
  • Persist per page - Filter selections apply to the current page only and never affect other pages.
  • Persist per session - Filter selections apply to all pages viewed within the browser tab.
  • Never persist - Filter selections do not pass from page to page.

Date Ranges

Configure custom date range options that appear in Date/Time Filter blocks alongside the built-in presets.

Each custom date range is defined by three properties:

  • Direction - Next (future) or Last (past).
  • Amount - A positive integer (minimum 1).
  • Unit - Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, Quarters, or Years.

Use the Add Date Range button to create new entries. Each entry can be edited or removed using its context menu. Click Save to apply changes.
